On June 10, 2025, a routine residential electrical servicing job was carried out at a 5-bedroom villa in Damac Hills, Dubai, for Mr. Ahmed Al Mansoori. The scope of work included inspecting and testing all distribution boards, replacing two faulty circuit breakers, and repairing outdoor lighting affected by corroded wiring. Kitchen sockets were rewired to resolve an overloading issue, and eight non-functioning LED downlights were replaced. Surge protectors were also installed for key household appliances. The job was completed in one day by a team of two electricians and a supervisor using standard electrical testing and repair tools. All work complied with Dubai Municipality and DEWA regulations. The client expressed satisfaction with the results, and a quarterly maintenance plan was recommended. Additionally, an upgrade to a smart home electrical panel was suggested for improved energy efficiency and remote monitoring.

In February 2025, a full electrical retrofit and load capacity upgrade was carried out at a commercial office tower in Cluster Y, Jumeirah Lake Towers. The scope involved replacing the building’s aging distribution panels, upsizing all sub-main cables to handle increased HVAC and IT load demands, and integrating a centralized automatic transfer switch (ATS) system for backup generators. All tenant floors received upgraded circuit protection and individual smart metering units to allow for real-time consumption monitoring. Emergency lighting systems and fire alarm power supplies were brought up to Dubai Civil Defence standards. The project was completed over a 5-week period by a team of 12 electricians and 3 project engineers, all working under live-building conditions with minimal disruption to tenants. Post-installation testing confirmed significant improvements in power reliability and load management.

Al Barsha South, Dubai
Al Barsha South, Dubai

In April 2025, a new electrical service riser was installed for a mid-rise residential development in Al Barsha South as part of an infrastructure expansion. The project addressed chronic voltage fluctuation and power loss issues across six residential floors. The team installed a custom-designed vertical riser shaft with high-capacity copper busbars, housed in fire-rated trunking and compliant with DEWA’s latest service guidelines. Each floor was provided with a dedicated sub-main panel with individual metering, surge protection, and fault isolation capabilities. Additional work included grounding enhancements, insulation testing, and integration of remote disconnect switches. The riser installation was completed in 8 days with close coordination between the electrical contractor, building management, and DEWA inspection teams. As a result, the building now benefits from stabilized voltage supply, improved safety, and capacity for future load expansion.
